  1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website lingobab.com and the online Arabic language courses (the “Platform”) provided by Lingobab AI Limited (“Lingobab”, “we”, “us”), a limited company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”).

By using the Platform, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time.

  1. Eligibility

By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you use the Platform with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. In line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 26/2025 on Child Digital Safety, we do not provide services to children under 13 without verified parental consent.   1. Account Registration

To access the courses, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and not share access with third parties. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

  1. Subscriptions and Payments

Access to paid courses is provided on a subscription basis. Available plans may include Free, Basic, Standard, and Premium tiers. Subscription prices are indicated on the website in AED (UAE Dirhams). Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe).

By purchasing a subscription, you confirm that:

  •  you authorise the charge for your selected plan;
  •  your subscription may renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date;
  • you are responsible for cancelling before renewal if you do not wish to continue.

We may change subscription prices from time to time. Price changes do not affect already-paid subscription periods. You will be notified of any price changes before your next renewal.

  1. Course Structure

Learning on the Platform follows a structured step-by-step system. Depending on your plan, a daily or monthly step limit may apply. Annual plans may provide unlimited access. Unused steps do not carry over to the next period unless explicitly stated otherwise.

We do not guarantee specific educational results. Learning outcomes depend on your engagement and consistency.

  1. Refund Policy

Refund requests must be sent to info@lingobab.com within fourteen (14) days of payment. We may grant refunds at our discretion if you have not completed a significant portion of the course content; payment processing fees may be deducted.

​Refunds are not provided for partially used subscription periods, renewals that were not cancelled in time, or simple dissatisfaction with the learning format. We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of abuse or violation of these Terms.

Nothing in this Section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including UAE Federal Law No. 15/2020 on Consumer Protection.

  1. Intellectual Property

All materials on the Platform (including texts, course structure, design, video, audio, software, AI models, and other content) are owned by Lingobab or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

​Any subscription grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the course content for your own private educational use only, and it does not grant you ownership of any content. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the content for your own private educational purposes. You may not copy, distribute, publish, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.

  1. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Platform for any unlawful purpose;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the system;
  • disrupt or interfere with the operation of the Platform;
  • share your account access with third parties;
  • scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content from the Platform.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

  1. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, absence of errors, or particular learning results.

​To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

​Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Platform or these Terms will not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

​We do not exclude or limit liability where this is not permitted under applicable law (for example in cases of fraud or wilful misconduct).

  1. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform in case of violation of these Terms, non-payment of subscription fees, or where required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Termination of access does not automatically entitle you to a refund (see Section 6). We may also deactivate accounts that have been inactive for more than one (1) year where there is no active subscription, with advance notice to you.

  1. Personal Data

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at lingobab.com/privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference.

  1. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, military actions, Internet outages, government restrictions, pandemics, or technical failures beyond our control.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published at lingobab.com/terms with the date of the last update. We will notify you of material changes via the Platform and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

  1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of them are governed by the laws of the DIFC.

​Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

​Before starting court proceedings, the parties will try in good faith to resolve the dispute within thirty 30 days after written notice.

  1. General Provisions

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lingobab regarding your use of the Platform.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Language. These Terms are drafted in English. If any translation is provided, the English version shall prevail in case of any inconsistency.
